Mayor Ken Sim will discuss Vancouver’s role in Canada’s economic future, and what it means for the city’s workers, its port and its place in a changing global economy.
With the October 17 municipal election weeks away, Mayor Sim will also speak to the importance of a mayor who can work with all levels of government to bring investment and jobs to Vancouver. Mayor Sim will outline how Vancouver can help build one Canadian economy, and make sure the investment and jobs that come with it land here.
Mayor Sim will outline a choice for voters. A Vancouver that builds with the federal government or a Vancouver that turns down investment and makes Canada weaker.
