Over the last four years, Vancouver has made measurable progress.
Crime is down. Investments in core services like roads and sidewalks are up. It’s getting easier to do business here. City Hall is focused on delivering the everyday basics that matter to residents.
There is still more work to do. We can’t afford to go back. Let’s keep Vancouver moving forward.

PUBLIC SAFETY & ADDRESSING STREET DISORDER
Hired 100 additional VPD officers and fully funded the police budget.
Expanded mental-health crisis response (doubled Car 87/88; specialized workers through Vancouver Coastal Health).
City’s lowest crime rate in 23 years, plus DTES drops in violent crime, robberies, and serious assaults after Task Force Barrage.
Removed or reduced encampments in parks and other public spaces.
Created VPD District 5 for the Downtown Eastside and funded a training academy at Woodward’s.
Engaged extra cleaning, graffiti removal, and police presence in Chinatown under the Uplifting Chinatown plan.
