Real tools for police, more treatment beds, and drugs out of our parks and school zones. 

  • Ban open-air hard drug use in public spaces
  • Give police a streamlined tool to seize hard drugs
  • Fight for 100 plus involuntary care beds in Vancouver
  • Mandate provincial drug consumption sites away from schools & parks
  • Non-profit oversight and implement a good neighbour agreement for all public housing with street disorder issues

AFFORDABILITY & ACCOUNTABILITY
AT CITY HALL

Freezing taxes and cutting fees so Vancouver families keep more of what they earn. 

  • 0% property tax increase in 2027 for buyers & renters
  • Remove pay parking at beaches & community centres and mandate a city-wide universal parking app
  • End residential parking permit fees
  • Continue the drive to reduce government waste
  • Expand department head meetings (VANSTAT) to weekly check-ins
  • Ensure taxpayer dollars only go to municipal responsibilities

JOBS & ECONOMY

Rebuilding the amenities and growing the industries that keep Vancouver competitive.

  • Rebuild the Vancouver Aquatic Centre with a 50M pool, at cost
  • Revitalize Granville Street & its pedestrian zone, continue to bring people downtown
  • A new era of cooperation between the City & major events, along with a new funding model
  • Scale Vancouver as a hub for technology companies and grow the job economy

RESTORING VANCOUVER

The largest infrastructure investment in city history from community centres to city streets.

  • Rebuild or revamp 5 community centres for $400 million
  • Start Phase 2 of restoring our community centres with another 5 being tackled in the next capital plan
  • Deliver the River District Community Centre
  • Continue to prioritize investments in roads and sidewalk repairs and renewal
  • Make City Hall permitting faster and easier
  • Continue streamlining City Hall to ensure it serves you
  • Fight to ensure that the provincial school tax collected in Vancouver goes to Vancouver schools

RAISING VANCOUVER

Real investment in swimming, childcare and community spaces for every Vancouver family.

  • Bring swimming lessons into the school day
  • Revamp & invest in recreational facilities (more pools, rinks, ice time)
  • Doubling down on childcare (double our 2000 new spaces)
  • Keep extracurricular activities in Vancouver
  • Create a strict performance based action committee to set better metrics for families
  • Create a playground improvement fund
  • Expand after-school programming
  • Increase teaching assistance by investing in our classrooms
