Chris Qiu is running for Park Board with ABC Vancouver.

Chris has dedicated more than 18 years to community service through neighbourhood initiatives and leadership roles with organizations including the Canadian Cancer Society, Scouts Canada, and Leo Clubs. She is an active member of Lions Clubs International and serves as Immediate Past Zone Chair of 19O-1.

As a longtime Vancouver resident and mother of three who raised her children here, Chris has seen firsthand how safe, accessible, and well-maintained parks give children places to grow, families places to connect, and seniors places to stay active.

Professionally, Chris has an extensive background in finance, accounting, and law, holding a Master of Laws (LL.M.) from McGill University. She previously served as Director of Outreach in the Mayor’s Office at the City of Vancouver, where she gained extensive experience working with community organizations, stakeholders, and residents across the city.

As a Park Board candidate, Chris is committed to keeping Vancouver’s parks and recreation facilities safe, clean, accessible, and well-maintained. She believes in building strong relationships with the community and delivering better services and value for Vancouverites.
