Vancouver, BC — ABC Vancouver is highlighting a series of important wins at Council following meetings on October 7 and 8. Each decision reflects the commitment to delivering a safer, more affordable, and well-run city for Vancouver residents and families.
Recent ABC Majority Council Results:
- Mental Health Crisis Response Program – Making a Real Difference in community safety
- Zero Means Zero — Council directs staff to hold the line on a zero percent property tax increase for 2026
- VanStat Launched — a new transparency and performance tracking tool to measure results across city services
- Champlain Heights Forest Protected — Council votes to preserve the trail network from development.
- Accessibility and Participation Enhanced — new measures make City Hall more inclusive and open to residents.
- Next Stop UBC — motion passed to push senior governments to accelerate the Broadway SkyTrain extension.
- Code of Conduct Strengthened — reforms approved to improve enforcement and accountability at City Hall.
