Angela has actively moved motions including, the removal of the temporary Stanley Park Bike Lane,\u00a0 the repair and restoration of the Jericho Beach Pier, the installation of a Water Park in Ross Park to invest in South East Vancouver area, upgrading Brock Park, and supported the removal of permitting fees for the Vaisakhi Parade, a non-profit communal family event, held by KDS and other Sikh community members, cogitative of costs, affordability, and accessibility to hold grassroot events here in Vancouver BC. Angela wants to make a difference by working collaboratively in consultation with communities, stakeholders, and fellow commissioners to ensure Vancouver is livable and a leader in creating innovative and inclusive public spaces. As an entrepreneur,\u00a0 Angela has co-founded several successful businesses.\u00a0 \u00a0Most recently, they have founded a Health Canada-licensed Medical Cannabis Greenhouse facility, facilitating veterans with pain and PTSD, in collaboration with University of Alberta. Angela is an active community volunteer, a mother of three, and resident of Dunbar and more importantly a proud member of Vancouver."}
