温哥华 — ABC温哥华市长候选人沈观健发表了以下声明，以回应市长肯尼迪·斯图尔特回避和否认存在实施温哥华市道路税的计划。
“今天，肯尼迪·斯图尔特发起了新的攻击，他再次回避和否认了在温哥华市实施道路税的问题。
“肯尼迪·斯图尔特从来没有说过他反对征收道路税，但他现在却试图隐瞒他投了赞成票的事实。他唯一的辩护是暗示实施道路税是“假新闻”。
“肯尼迪·斯图尔特市长进一步表示，市政府无权征收道路税。 但他知道这个说法是假的。
“在2021年，城市经理萨杜·约翰斯顿（Sadhu Johnston）提供了几种可以寻求实施道路税的选择。此外，在实施特定城市的道路定价计划方面，他告诉肯尼迪·斯图尔特（Kennedy Stewart）“有办法利用我们现在拥有的权力来完成这种类型的安排”。
