Brennan first moved to the City of Vancouver in 1998 and has lived in several neighbourhoods including the West End, Point Grey, and Oakridge. He completed his first business course at Langara College.

Brennan is an active community organizer and advocate. He is an advisor on Diversity and Inclusion, having worked with corporations, sports teams, and private schools to help make communities more safe and welcoming.

Brennan’s professional experience includes nearly twenty years of leadership roles in the technology sector. Through his volunteer work, Brennan brings people and communities together to solve complex issues. He serves on the Board of BC Rugby, is a Director at the Meralomas Rugby Club, and restarted the Vancouver Rogues, a gay and inclusive rugby team. He currently serves as President and Head Coach of the Rogues.

Committed to improving access to sports fields and parks, Brennan is also passionate about the physical and mental health benefits of maintaining an active lifestyle. As a lifelong rugby fan, Brennan has played for over 25 years, recently reviving the Vancouver Rogues. He led the partnership with the Meralomas Club and has made Inclusive Rugby the fastest area of growth in men’s rugby in BC.

Brennan holds a Masters of Business Administration in Strategy from the University of New South Wales in Sydney, Australia and a Bachelor of Commerce in International Business from the University of Victoria. He is fluent in French and English.

As Park Board Commissioner, Brennan will advocate for better parks and easier access to green spaces.
