Q&A With Ken Sim on Safety and the Downtown East Side

Dear ABC Supporters;

We encourage you to read this recent interview with Mayor Ken Sim and veteran political reporter Mike Howell as to why Mayor and Council have taken difficult but important steps to help improve safety on the Downtown Eastside, and the shelter being offered.

If you have any questions or feedback, please feel free to get in contact. Also, we are in the process of updating the ABC web site and will have more news to share in the coming days.

Tomorrow, Saturday April 15th, the Mayor and ABC team will be celebrating and participating in Vaisakhi (link), and we hope you can join us. Follow the parade route (link)  or join us at Sunset Community Centre, where you will find the ABC tent. This is a good opportunity to meet and chat with the ABC elected officials.

Sincerely,

Marie Rogers
Chair, ABC Vancouver
